Spring Break

My Spring Break has been anything but fun-

Kids arguing, and fighting, not getting chores done-

Threats of groundings and essays too-

Only bring dirty looks, or “Mom, I don’t like you!”-

Rooms torn apart to bag old things up-

Only makes bigger messes for me-

I’d rather drink something in my cup-

By the end of the day-

After all is said and done-

Today will only be a memory-

in years to come.
